About Wheat Williams
Wheat Williams was born in 1964, and has been a semi-professional musician since about 1987. He started his musical studies at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and finished his Bachelor of Music degree at Georgia State University in 1997. His major was recording studio engineering, and his principal instrument was traditional voice, which is to say opera singing. He’s a tenor.
Wheat’s musical outlet all these years has been singing traditional church music, as a chorister and soloist. As of March 2009, he is embarking on a new direction, becoming a classical guitarist. And that’s what this blog is about.
